Put the following events (1～4) into the order in which they happened.
次の出来事（1～4）を起こった順に並べてください
最初に本文に出てくるのは、「3」の内容です。
3. He was given a prize for his presentation.
彼はプレゼンテーションに対して賞を与えられた
これは第一段落にこうあります。
In my last semester in college, I received an award for my final research presentation.
大学での最後の学期に、私は最終研究発表で賞を受賞しました
次に本文に出てくるのは「2」の内容です。
2. He made short presentations on a regular basis.
彼は定期的に短いプレゼンテーションを行いました
on a regular basis で「定期的に」の意味です。これは第一段落にこうあります。
From my first day of college, I especially feard giving the monthly class presentations.
大学の初日から、私は特に毎月のクラス発表を行うことを恐れていました
ここには「短い」とは書かれていません。しかし上の「3」で確認した「最終研究発表」よりは、この「クラス発表」の方が「短い」と考えられます。そのためこの記述が「2」の内容となります。
次に本文に出てくるのは「4」の内容です。

彼はリスクを冒して、より自信を持って行動するよう動機づけられました
これは第二段落にこうあります。
I thought she was taking a huge professional risk, but she displayed such confidence with her new style that I was inspired.
彼女はプロとして大きなリスクを負っていると思っていましたが、彼女は新しいスタイルに自信を持っていたので、私はインスピレーションを受けました
最後に本文に出てくるのは「1」です。

これは第三段落にこうあります。
When I started my final presentation, naturally, I was nervous, but gradually a sense of calm flowed through me.
最終発表が始まると、当然緊張していましたが、次第に落ち着いてきました
本文に出てきた順序は「3」→「2」→「4」→「1」です。しかし選択肢「3」の「賞をもらった」のは、起こった順番としては当然最後です。
ということで、正解は「2」→「4」→「1」→「3」です。
選択肢「2」の「短いプレゼンテーション」が、何のことかわからない人がいたかも。最終プレゼンの前の練習かと勘違いしてしまうと、ミスになりますね。

リックが感動した場面は、第二段落にこうあります。

「1」と「4」で少し迷うところですが、「歌手から影響を受けたものが何か」と考えると、選びやすいと思います。

選択肢を確認しましょう。

「3」も少し迷いますが、リックは質問に答えているのであって、質問をしているわけではリアません。ですから、この選択肢は違いますね。
